GLOBAL: 14th International Passive House Conference to be held on 28-29 May 2010 in Dresden

14th International Passive House Conference will be held 28-29 May 2010 in Dresden. The conference is organized by the Passive Hause Institute in Darmstadt and Saxon Energy Agency (SAENA).

Over 1000 participants from all over the world are expected to attend the 14th International Passive House Conference. They will be introduced to the latest developments in energy efficient architecture.

The organisers invite anyone who is involved in energy efficienct construction to submit a paper to the conference. The submission deadline is 2nd November 2009.
The 2009 Conference will focus on the following themes:

I. Regional economic additional value 'Passive House'
II. Energy Efficiency inside buildings - Electrical appliances suitable for Passive Houses
III. Passive House activities in Central and Eastern Europe
IV. News from R&D: Building services and building envelope
V. Developments: Passive House - non-residential buildings
VI: Solutions for the refurbishment of buildings worth preserving
VII: Energy efficient construction in public space
VIII: Funding/financial support
IX Comfort and Health

International Sessions- abstracts in English only

X: Passive House in Central and Eastern Europe - networking for a sustainable future
XI: Documentation of built Passive House examples in Central and Eastern Europe
XII: Documentation of already built Passive House examples inhot and cold climates
