Some of our achievements over the past several years are as follows:
preparation of a methodology for water pricing
development of the national strategy on transboundary water resources use, which is aimed at the execution of the country's sovereign right to use own water and hydropower resources to create conditions for sustainable economic development
creation of a methodology for evaluating vulnerability of underground waters and a zoning map for of the Chui and Issyk-Kul river basins
determination of a shaping mechanism of renewable resources of thermal mineral underground waters in deep levels of the Chui and Issyk-Kul artesian basins
research on a mechanism of underflooding and waterlogging phenomenon; development of recommendations to prevent floodings
design of various digital models (relief, glaciers, evaporation, precipitations, average annual temperatures, flow rate, humidification, etc.)
development of water and land resources databases
development of information reference systems on natural resources of the Issyk-Kul oblast (GISIK; zip file, 6.34Mb) and water resources of the Syr Darya river forming zone (WARRES; zip file, 6.45Mb)
